Anyone who has gone through or still attends high school knows how important and exiting the Homecoming football game is.  Like many other schools, Lincoln Christian prepared for the game with a variety of dress up days and pep rallys to show school spirit and get hyped for the game. The game kicked off at 3:00 after school on Friday the 29th of September. A large crowd of students, families, and staff gathered to cheer on the Crusader football team as they took on Raymond Central. From the kickoff it was clear that the Crusaders had brought more energy and offensive efficiency to the field. The Crusaders took 14-0 lead early in the game. This explosive offense was partly due to the inability to complete tackles by the Raymond Central players. This lead to multiple long runs, some of which were touchdowns. Senior Alex Schreiner, was particularly exceptional on the offensive end of the field. the Crusader defense was also deserving of praise. They delivered a handful of interceptions and tackles that clearly frustrated the Raymond Central coaches and players on the sidelines. The crusaders dominated in this game and stomped out Raymond Central 41-0.
