With more and more musicals making their way in and out of the theatres, it can be easy for some to get lost in the sea of new movies. This means making one that will be remembered for years to come. I think The Greatest Showman has accomplished this goal.

From beautiful and elegant costumes to breathtaking choreography, this movie has become an instant hit. With talented actors Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya, this movie will make you emotional till the very end. This movie is based on a true story about P.T. Barnum who started the very first circus from nothing and became a worldwide sensation. It is not hard to fall in love with these characters and you can’t help but cheer for them as they develop throughout the movie.

Under the direction of Michael Gracey, the movie so far has been a tremendous success. For me, the most memorable part, however, was the music. The soundtrack to this musical is absolutely incredible. The music was often repeated in little reprises throughout the movie but this is something I did not mind.

My only complaint about the movie would be the quick moving pace of the plot. It seemed a little rushed at times but was also necessary to help eliminate slowly moving scenes. Overall, The Greatest Showman was an instant favorite of mine and something I would definitely watch again.
